Ghost Society are a new Danish shoegaze/dreampop/noisepop band. Their debut album was released this monday and it's called The Back Of His Hands, Then His Palms. It's a very fine effort - athmospheric, well-produced pop songs with added swirly guitars and synths. Of course, comparisons with the amazing and legendary My Bloody Valentine cannot be avoided, but Ghost Society is not just pure shoegaze. My favorite tune here is Isolated, and although it might lean towards the more traditional shoegaze sound, there's something more to it. Check it out right here:
