R.I.P Jay Reatard.

On January 13th, Jay Reatard passed away, totally unexpected. Now you might be like "Oh, Jay Retard xD xD xD" and we'll be like "hey man, that's not fun".

Jay Reatard, or Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr., was a garage punk musician and busy as hell. A quick count from his discography on Wikipedia gives us 68 albums, compilations and 7"s. That's pretty damn much for a 29 year-old. Some of it is pretty damn good and Jay Reatard was on the edge of a breakthrough, I think. Shame for him to die at this time (if any time is a good time), but he left us with shit loads of brilliant, fantastic garage punk rock songs. Enjoy, and rest in peace, Jay.
